The subspecies of Amari are the result of the Manji creating them as better worshipers then the regular mortals. These wolves were gifted with powers better then the regular mortals could have wished for. They live much longer as well, by ten years on average or more, but much less then the Manji. |

Introduction: These wolves are covered in very short, sleek looking fur. They are a very odd looking wolf compared to their more wolfen cousins, but non the less majestic for it. Their long, whip like tails are tipped in long, silky, wavy fur, which is also commonly found on their manes, a long their spine, and on sexually mature males chins. Their eyes have no set color, but instead swirl from color to color as their mood changes. Because of this occurrence, it is hard for them to lie to another without closing their eyes. They are also a colorful species, with quite a bit of background with their species. You will rarely see this species without some sort of jewelry decorating their body. They have saber like teeth as well.

Introduction: These wolves tend to live in cold places, or at high altitudes in certain areas. There is a tendency towards coastal areas as well since they can often be cooler than inland areas. They are well adapted to the cold and ice, being able to deal well with the constant sunshine reflecting on snow as well as months of night much like you would think of with Alaska. They value physical and mental powers, while interacting peacefully with others quite rarely. They are lean in appearance though do not mistake this for weakness. Sometimes they rely on sheer brute strength and bulk, but this isn’t a common trait. They have quick wits about them, but because of where they live, if their bodies are weak they often die unless others decide to help look after them. Injuries and illnesses prevent them from living unnaturally long lives since their bodies wear out quicker than most due to the areas they live.

Introduction: These wolves look different than what you may be accustomed to. They appear very cat like in appearance, with narrow muzzles and smaller than average, graceful bodies. Their claws are able to be retracted at will, allowing them to maintain their claws more so than a normal wolf. Their eyes usually have vertical slits like a cat’s would and they also reflect large amounts of light, causing them to look like they’re glowing. They also have extremely good vision in the dark. They prefer to live in areas where cover is plentiful, finding open valleys and areas prone to more danger than in the cover of forests.

Introduction: These wolves are beautiful all around. They will live anywhere they feel comfortable with, though try to refrain from living anywhere dry or dark year around. By day these wolves are blind, the irises of their eyes being altered so that during the day, they will take in the energy of the sunlight and by night, this energy is used in such a way that their eyes begin to light up and somewhat glow in the dark. At night they can see perfectly, though often missing out on the things that are only visible in the daylight. They will always have some sort of vision impairment that affects them during the daylight hours.

Their memories aren’t exactly the greatest but they suffice well enough. They live mainly in forests, finding the open valleys and fields to dangerous for their size. They prefer to be hidden and protected.

Introduction: These wolves are often found in areas where there isn’t a ton of light all the time. Light hurts their eyes more so than any other species. They can be seen as seductive and have been known to seduce others unlike their kind to carry on their gene or to simply lure them in for the play of bloodletting as well as the pleasure of sex, two of their favorite things. They are extremely protective over those of their kind as well as others close to them. They will kill over a meal that they had caught themselves. They consider themselves the vampires of the modern time. They prefer to be a lone most times and will go from wolf to wolf depending on what gender they are. They cannot stay with one specific wolf for long, they always need something different from time to time. Their pelts mainly consist of dark colors. Blacks, grays, reds, purples and sometimes green. They have elongated fangs that peek slightly under their upper lip though those fangs are able to grow slightly when in the hunt or if they are angry or startled. Nicks adorn both of their ears and wings vary.

Blood is their consumption, needing it often when young though as they grow older, the less and less they need it. For an adult Vempira, they only need to consume it about once a week, unless they are engaging in some sexual or playful event.

Abilities: This species are able to mask their scents to blend in with their surroundings. Because they sometimes eat fully bloomed roses, a lot of the time they can mask their scent to match that but can change their scent to whatever they choose to if around a certain smell long enough for their body to recognize it so they can use it later on in life. Their front canine fangs will also grow slightly longer than usual when feeding or when provoked and angry or even in dark, sexual play. They also have amplified speed, both in flight and on the ground, allowing them to get to places quicker or to catch their meal before it decides to bolt off before they have the choice to run. Their scent masking also helps in the hunting aspect, giving their prey a different, nicer scent than that of a predator waiting to make the kill. With their speed, they appear like they are teleporting but they’re not, they are just getting to their destination faster than others.

Fur: Their fur will mainly consist of dark colors. Blacks, grays and dark colors of red or even purple and sometimes green. They can be mixed with lighter colors but not often unless to accent parts of their body like eyes, ears or tail. They will often have medium length fur that is rough to the touch but will have areas of fur that are much softer than the rest mostly on the chest and under belly. If wings are present, they will usually match the color of the peltage but can be of any look whether raven like, bat like, or dragon like. They can have any markings possible.

Behavior: These wolves can be quite aggressive towards others. They are protective of what is theirs and will fight whoever decides to take it away from them. They are somewhat social but only mostly around those like themselves though they do enjoy being a lone greatly. If the other they encounter share the same obsessions or passions of the Vempira, then they will likely become friends but it takes a lot for anyone else to truly get to know them well enough to trust them. They are a species that can be hard to trust, often turning their backs on those who thought themselves as friends. Both males and females are strong fighters and are often known as warriors with their exceeded speed and large forms. Many have learned to hate this species as a while so they will often stay clear of them. They do not take kindly to threats and will fight to kill or fight to injure severely.

Reproduction: They are all fertile unless they decide to try and abort a pregnancy which is often for this species. If a male Vempira breeds with a normal female, only half of the litter will have the Vempira gene and it will mostly carry on into the males. If a female Vempira breeds with a normal male, the females will carry the gene. If male and female Vempira breed, the whole litter will carry the gene though it gets slightly stronger every time a litter is produced. They breed in the winter when the snow and ice have descended and the pups are born 15 weeks later. It can often happen that offspring to a Vempira and another species can pick up Vempira traits.

Their front canines are very prominent and can protrude slightly out of their mouth, meeting sometimes with the bottom of their chins. The fangs are finely tipped with an extremely sharp point that often penetrates their kill first. They prefer dark places and will often make homes in caves as well as underground. They are muscular in size and can have strange markings. They can have venom glands as well as forked tongues. Their eye color can be anything as long as it has slit pupils.
